About The Designer

Laoise Carey is an independent fashion designer, designing and hand-making her collections in Ireland.
More than just a fashion brand: Laoise’s garments are hand-crafted using vintage and re-purposed textiles. Laoise Carey is an advocate of the slow-fashion movement, aiming to reduce the textiles going to waste in landfill with every collection produced.
All garments are sewn by Laoise in her design studio in Co. Tipperary.
She is a graduate of the National College of Art & Design, Dublin with a BA in Fashion Design (2017) and has previously worked at Simone Rocha's London studio for four seasons.

‘I am passionate about building a community who care about how their clothing affects the planet, along with the plants, animals and people who live here.’
There is no better time than now to begin your slow fashion journey.
