ABOUT
Laoise Carey Studio is defining the parameters of circular fashion in Ireland.
The brand is committed to regenerating and elevating vintage, recycled and other eco-friendly textiles, by creating luxurious heirloom clothing for the eco-conscious customer.
All collections are handcrafted in Ireland with the highest quality finishings, giving new life to old and overlooked materials, and paving a sustainable path forward for the future of fashion.
Irish Mythology and the beautiful landscapes of Laoise’s home county, Tipperary, inspire each collection, welcoming the wearer to step into her world of nostalgia, craftmanship, luxury and quality.
At the core of the brand are the principles of ethical, sustainable and slow fashion, with each piece designed to be worn and loved long into the future.
Laoise graduated from her BA at the National College of Art & Design, Dublin in 2017 and began her career working in the areas of pattern drafting and garment technology.
She learned the importance of high quality fit and finishings in luxury fashion while working for Simone Rocha in London. She currently tutors in pattern making and sewing skills.
Laoise Carey Studio was established in 2020 and has since been stocked in CREATE '24 Brown Thomas, The Conscious Atelier (Naas), Les Fleurs Studio (Online), Om Diva and Curated by Greens are Good For You (Dublin).
Laoise Carey aims to be a trailblazer in the Irish Fashion Industry, making circularity and environmental consciousness the rule, rather than the exception, in Irish Design.
