Cotton Patchwork Trousers

Description:

This pyjama style trousers is patchworked together from vintage cotton, linen and lace panels. Front button opening is from the original Victorian Bloomers, then extended into trousers with zip added. The original owner of these bloomers' initials can be seen on the back waistband. Finished with hand-embroidery & monogram. Can be worn with buttons to front or back. 

Fabric:

Original Victorian Bloomers, vintage cotton tablecloths, crochet lace panels & synthetic embroidery panel, all salvaged from vintage stores & second-hand markets. 

Due to the nature of vintage textiles & hand made garments, slight imperfections may be visible, which add to the character & story behind each upcycled piece. 

Hand wash at 30 degrees. Air dry. Iron cotton on medium. Avoid lace panels when ironing. Do not steam lace panels. Do not tumble dry.

Model is 6'1" and size UK 10.
